Whittle & Co Surveyors is proud to be a Silver Sponsor of the RICS DRS Conference: The Future of ADR, taking place on Thursday 22 October 2026 at Church House, Westminster.
The conference celebrates 50 years of the RICS Dispute Resolution Service, a significant milestone for the built environment and the professionals who resolve its disputes. It brings together senior figures from dispute resolution, law, industry and academia to consider how alternative dispute resolution should develop in the years ahead.
Why We Are Supporting the Event
Dispute resolution sits at the heart of our work. Paul Whittle FRICS FCIArb sits on the RICS President’s Panels of Construction Adjudicators and Mediators, is a RICS Accredited Expert Witness, and has conducted nearly 200 mediations since qualifying with RICS in 2011.
“With dispute resolution central to my practice, I’m delighted to support the event and the professional community behind it,” said Paul.
What Is on the Programme
The programme promises plenty of thought-provoking discussion, including:
- the ethical challenges of AI in dispute resolution
- trust in expert evidence
- debates on mediation and dispute boards
- whether adjudication has become arbitration by another name
- a look ahead to dispute resolution in 2035
“I’m looking forward to hearing from the speakers, catching up with familiar faces and meeting new colleagues from across the dispute resolution community,” Paul added.
